Privacy Policy
Effective 6 August 2026
HAQQ is a general UAE legal-information app. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation.
1. Scope
This policy explains how HAQQ handles information when you use the mobile app, including its legal-guidance and document-analysis features.
2. Information processed
When you use HAQQ, we may process the text you submit in a question, the conversation context needed to answer it, your selected emirate and language, and any document or image that you deliberately select for analysis. The app also stores your saved answers, bookmarks, recently viewed laws, and preferences on your device.
3. Why we process it
We process this information to provide requested legal-information guidance, analyse a document when you request it, show localised legal material, and operate and improve the app’s reliability and security.
4. Service providers and transfers
HAQQ routes requested guidance and document analysis through its backend and AI-processing providers. These providers may process submitted information to provide the service under their own applicable terms and privacy policies. Do not submit passwords, one-time codes, Emirates ID numbers, passport numbers, UAE Pass credentials, or case and police-report numbers in chat.
5. Storage and retention
HAQQ does not provide user accounts or a user-profile archive in the app. Saved answers, bookmarks, recent laws, preferences, and cached legal material are stored on your device. HAQQ does not intentionally create a database of your chat messages or uploaded documents. Infrastructure and processing providers may retain limited operational information under their own policies.
6. Your controls
You can delete HAQQ data stored on your device through Profile → Privacy → Delete all data from this device. This removes local app data, but cannot remove records held by a government authority, a government service you open, or an external processing provider. You can avoid any new processing by not submitting a question or document.
7. Sharing, sale, and tracking
HAQQ does not sell personal information or use your legal questions or documents for advertising or cross-app tracking. We disclose information only as needed to provide the requested service, comply with law, or protect the app and its users.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the service. No online transmission or system can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid uploading information that is unnecessary for the question you want answered.
9. Children
HAQQ is not designed for children. Do not submit a child’s personal information unless you are authorised to do so and it is necessary for the service.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the app changes. The current version will be available at this URL. For support, privacy questions, or requests, use the support contact and Support URL shown on HAQQ’s App Store listing.
